(The Giraffes + class is offered for Giraffes who would like the benefit of a five day program)

*The Zebra Class is offered Wednesday, 8:45-11:45am. It is for our Tuesday/Thursday students who would like another day at school. The curriculum for this class is structured to complement our Tues/Thurs classes....because two days of learning and fun is just not enough!

A typical day for our three and four year olds

Our day begins in the classroom with a greeting circle time. The children and teachers share special events and participate in music, dancing and storytelling.

9:00-10:10am Art/Learning Centers

The children may work at their own pace and interest level at learning centers, which include fine motor skills activities, concept introduction, puzzles, educational games, dramatic play and make believe, arts and crafts, a science table, library center, and puppet theatre. Our classroom includes an outside patio area used for water table and measuring activities, easel painting, woodworking, gardening and nature activities. We have three teachers dedicated to each class in order to maintain a low teacher:student ratio. This allows the teachers to direct activities in small groups and encourages each child to participate in many activities.

10:10-10:30am Bathroom and Snack Time

We provide a healthy snack each day. We have a strict "no nut products" policy and can accommodate special dietary requirements.

10:30-11:25am Playground Time!

The children "shake their sillies out" daily on our gated playground. We have swings, jungle gyms and a large sand and water play area. Twice each month we have extra special physical education days in the Westwood Club Gymnasium. The children hop, skip and jump through an obstacle course, run relay races and learn how to play favorite games.

11:25-11:45am Closing Circle group time

This is an optional extended day program. It is offered daily 11:45am-2:00pm. Children may bring their lunches and stay after school for an additional playground time, stories and music. The cost of this program is $12/day.

Summer Camps

Camp is for children 3 or 4 by December 2nd. Must be potty trained! All camps are one week long, Monday-Friday, 9am-1pm. Camp schedules include lunch time. There is no lunch bunch program during the summer. The cost of each camp is $95/week. July camps include pool time at the Westwood Club wading pool.
