Architectural Committee Information and Guidelines

Residents who are repairing homes, or replacing damaged property that is the exact same, or doing ANY landscaping, or fencing:

The Architectural Committee must approve ANY and ALL exterior changes to your home. These changes include, but are not limited to: fence rebuilds/replacements, house painting, landscaping, removal of dead trees, garage doors and windows. Exterior painting should include an actual paint swatch along with the form. If you are in doubt, please call 858-485-6300. Your neighbors MUST sign off all forms. If you cannot contact a neighbor due to the loss of their home, we will assist you with that. We are noticing that replacements and repairs are being done withour prior approval, this may cause you being subject to a fine. Please note - ALL repairs must be approved BEFORE starting the work.

Residents doing a complete rebuild:

For the initial submission the committee requires the following: -A completed ARC application. You MUST have your neighbors review the plans and sign the form. Any forms submitted without signatures will be tabled until signatures are secured. -Plans that include lot plan, floor plan, roof line and exterior elevations. -You will be required to submit a roof sample (this may be submitted after approval, but BEFORE installation). -Exterior colors and sample. (These must be actual stucco colors, siding materials, etc.)

The committee meets weekly on Wednesday at 6pm. Please submit your forms and plans no later than the Monday before 5pm. This will enable us to prepare and put your request on the agenda. An architectural Control Application can be printed off of this website from the Architectural Approval page.
