Westwood Architectural Committee
Residents who are repairing homes, or replacing damaged property that is the exact same, or doing ANY landscaping, or fencing:
The Architectural Committee must approve ANY and ALL exterior changes to your home. These changes include, but are not limited to: fence rebuilds/replacements, house painting, landscaping, removal of dead trees, garage doors and windows. Exterior painting should include an actual paint swatch along with the form. If you are in doubt, please call 858-485-6300. Your neighbors MUST sign off all forms. If you cannot contact a neighbor due to the loss of their home, we will assist you with that. We are noticing that replacements and repairs are being done withour prior approval, this may cause you being subject to a fine. Please note - ALL repairs must be approved BEFORE starting the work.
The committee meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6pm. Please have your forms and plans in to the office no later than 5pm the Monday prior to the meeting. This will enable us to prepare and put your request on the agenda. An architectural Control Application can be printed off of this website by clicking on "Architectural Approval Application" at the bottom of this page.
